Finally... IHOP a.k.a International House of Pancakes -- has finally arrived in Manila!! :)

Everyone has been talking endlessly about this iconic brand in the U.S (breakfast scene) for the past 55 years and it seems that everyone has been infected with this so called IHOP craze! It's a no surprise that IHOP has been hitting Manila with a big boom!! because they really serve the best breakfast ever.

A bit pricey but enough to satisfy your breaky mode. :)

Anyways, last Monday we visited IHOP at the fort, we were actually supposed to go on a Sunday after the church but I didn't want to.. because I've been warned about how crazy it could get in IHOP during the weekends. and so I told my boyfriend to just sleep over at my house so we can go there for breakfast. hihi

So I woke him up as early as 8am just to make sure that when we get there, there won't be any long que of lines waiting outside the IHOP. But apparently, the traffic was cray last Monday so I think we got there at exactly 10am or so (?) Not that bad though cause we were seated almost immediately as soon as we got there.

The much awaited food.
I ordered the breakfast sampler Php 350: Two eggs, hashbrowns, two bacon strips, two pork sausage links and two pieces of ham. Served with two buttermilk pancakes.

What's so awesome about IHOP though is that you can upgrade your buttermilk pancakes to any of their signature pancake flavours for just an additional Php50! Amazeballs. I was about to order for the New York cheesecake pancake but apparently it wasn't available that day. (sad) So I just got myself these gorgeous cinn-a-stack pancakes. It has a yummy cinnamon filling topped with cream cheese icing and a whipped cream. yuum! :p

My boyfriend opted for a big steak omelette Php 325:  Tender strips of steak, hash browns, fresh greens, peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. Served with salsa. This also comes with two buttermilk pancakes.. which my boyfriend didn't want to upgrade (boringggg!).

This one was so good though! I love the strips of steak and the peppers added an amazing flavour into it and also the salsa. It's a must try!

obviously.. look at his poor plate!

The most amazing thing about IHOP are these mouth-watering unlimited syrups (strawberry, blueberry, butter pecan, old fashioned honey) for your pancake!! I personally recommend the Butter Pecan. So yummy.. x
Also, great news for the coffee lovers out there! IHOP has this Never Empty Coffee Pot for only Php125.  and all sorts of amazing refreshments for the juice lovers.

So if you wanna try IHOP, I suggest you try to visit them during Mondays and weekday mornings, and prepare atleast Php500 each for the food.

Ooor you can just wait for another store to open since they're planning to expand (50 branches) IHOP in the next five years as well as to the rest of Asia.
