Imperial Waterpark Resort & Spa (Cebu)

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

During our first day in Cebu, (right after from the airport and chillin for a bit) we headed straight here at the Imperial Waterpark Resort & Spa for addy's 3rd birthday celebration! This waterpark resort is the first and only waterpark resort in Cebu. One of the classiest and finest resort and spa if I may say. The view at the lobby was just so breath taking.. and I just couldn't wait to dive in the pool and take selfie shots. lol :p
at the lobby

This waterpark Resort & Spa has 556 elegantly furnished rooms ( 128 deluxe rooms, 380 suites, 48 pool and  jacuzzi villas) They basically have available Deluxe rooms, Suites (Mactan Suite, Cebu Suite, Imperial Suite, Executive Suite, Royal Suite), and Villas.

we were supposed to stay at one of the villas (Villas range from Php28k-P30k/night) but I think they don't have a vacant one.. Yes because during that day the waterpark was just oh my gosh jampacked with koreans! Yup you heard that right.. koreans and I am not even kidding.. I think we were the only Filipinos out there and ofcourse the staff were Filipinos, but the rest of the guest? all koreans!
So we got this suite room (Php18k/a night) that has 2 large rooms, a king-sized bed and two twin beds, 2 bathrooms complete with bathtubs, separate shower and toilet. A balcony, living room area, guest restroom, and a mini pantry. We stayed at the room with the king-sized bed with my cousin. And I just love how comfy the bed was! and ofcourse our bathtub was huge. haha
The waterpark features 5 different huge themed pools.
We tried the two slides except that red thingy! it was so much fun and can drive you insanely crazy but I didn't scream at all. I just think that if you're a claustrophobic, these slides can kill you because it was a bit suffocating inside but it was only like a 12 seconds ride or less.

The aqus pool bar - they serve signature alcoholic drinks, and non alcohol drinks like shakes and stuff. They also serve light snacks.

The wave rider - an artificial tide pool. I had a hard time walking around this pool because the current was so hard. It's as if it was a real beach waves! It's fun!

Capt hook's pool - features pirate ship and slides for kids! so much fun and jam-packed with chubby cute baby koreans! haha They also have a mini one pool for kids which I forgot to take pics.

This pool made deanne really excited and happy! watch the video. :))

Amazon River pool - a flowing river pool that you can enjoy while riding in an inflatable tube. and every morning this serves as an exercise place for the people to dance and shake those booties!

THE BEACH SIDE
You can pretty much rent your own cabana for 3 hours use and get a relaxing massage.

THE POOL AT NIGHT

THE BUFFET FOOD - my favorite part of the day ofcourse, eating! haha

Familia resto opens at 6am-10am breakfast, 12nn-230pm lunch, 6pm-10pm dinner. It has four live stations: Japanese, Western, Oriental and a Dessert station.
I love that the food was actually good and never empty.
my plate.
If you're planning to visit the Imperial Palace without actually renting a room, you can get the whole fun-filled package day tour + buffet for  Php3,500/person.
