Coca-cola Campaign (5by20)

Monday, December 29, 2014

Hello loves, I just want to share with you something that is really close to my heart. I rarely post something like this but this one from Coca-cola really caught my attention. This campaign from Coca-cola focuses on empowering female sari-sari store owners and highlight their role as the pillars of the Coca-cola business.

By watching the video below, it made me miss my “Ate Josie”. Back when I was still in Elementary, I remember every after school I would run to this sari-sari store beside our school to have my merienda (cupcake and Coke) and I would always ask Ate Josie if she has new products in store because other than snacks, she also sells stationery and school stuff.

I remember whilst waiting for my service to come, we would talk about many things whether it’s about school, crushes, or just random life lessons and stories. She was kind of close also with every other kid and thus she had become like our second mom back then.

I think that this video campaign from Coke speaks to us in a way where we could appreciate these women (micro-entrepreneurs) behind it. That in these small businesses, be it a computer shop, salon, sari-sari store, etc.. we may find something more important.. and that is a friend, a sister, a mentor, or a second mom.

I hope that somehow, this made us feel very nostalgic like I did, and appreciate more our “Ates and Manangs” during those special moments in our lives. We may not always remember their importance but now is the time to actually give back and take time to appreciate these courageous women and help them find success by supporting this campaign. Coke aims to reach 5 million micro-entrepreneurs by 2020. They help improve their lives and small businesses by giving them an access to business skills training courses, and financial services. I really really appreciate that Coke actually gives importance to these women and believe in what they can do/offer more.

Help me spread this campaign by sharing this post (or atleast raise awareness) and the video above on your social media sites, and you may also check their site for more info here: Coca-cola Campaign

How I organize my facemasks!

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

If you have been following me for a while then you probably know by now my obsession when it comes to face masks. This morning, I decided to sort out all my facemasks where I could see them.. so I can use them. I barely use mask these days as I tend to forget them, because I kinda kept them in their boxes. So I got them out and decided to sort them out.

Here are all the masks I have.. Some of them I've already gave away, and some I decided to sell. But as you can see, I still have so many!!

I decided to sort them by four types: Moisturizing, Anti-aging, Whitening, and anti-acne.

Skinpotions Fruit Pigment Lip and Cheek (Review)

Sunday, December 21, 2014

Hi loves, today I'm gunna share with you all this recent discovery of mine to make my lips looking super naturally red lips.

I recently went to the trendsetter bazaar at the Metro Tent to visit our friend Jonah the owner of Skin Potions and to check out their products as they were having a huge huge sale and discount! Skinpotions has been known for its super organic and highly effective skincare products. In fact, they have a whooping 22.5k followers on their instagram account (@skinpotions).

Anyways, I was so fortunate to try this baby out! I'm a real sucker for lip tints as I want my lips looking super naturally red for just an everyday look. That's why I was so super excited to try this..

"Highly pigmented that are rich with organically grown ingredients that moisturizes lips and cheeks naturallywhile  indulging with berry yum scent."

Key Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Dragon Fruit and Strawberry Fruit Pigment, Pomegranate Oils, Olive Oil Camellia, Pumpkin Seed.

The scent: Super fruity and addictive! Love love love the scent.
The packaging is very simple. Kinda like a nail polish though but I don't mind.

Swatch on my hand:

By one swatch of this on my hand I can already tell how pigmented the tint was.

The Faceshop Special Zone Care Mask (Review)

Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser Review

Sunday, December 7, 2014

Hello loves! here's another review for you.. I know I haven't been doing any updated skincare routine in awhile but that's because I haven't found any specific regimen that I know I can use as a set.. Been trying different things lately but I swear it will be up soon! I'll have my updated skincare routine post probably before Christmas or early next year. I don't know I'll keep you guys updated. Anyways, today I will be talking about my current facial cleanser..

it's the Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser Php575 at The Beauty Bar

I've been eyeing this one for ages ever since college, but I haven't really thought of buying this until recently. I really really wanted to get a cleanse that can combat the acne as well.. So I saw this and I was like "okay it's time to try this baby".

I love buying Yadah products as they claim to be super herbal and natural/organic with their sets of ingredients. I love that they don't put paraben, mineral oil, and artificial colorant.

I know it's ridiculously pricey for a planner but please take note that Kate Spade is actually a high-end brand so that's pretty reasonable. I got this straight from Kate Spade Shangri-la Mall Branch.

An overview of the back.
I like how it has a Kate Spade logo at the back.

Wet n' Wild Mega Last Lipstick Swatches

Tuesday, November 11, 2014

Hello loves, today I'm gunna share with you all of my Wet n' Wild Lipstick swatches. Some of these lippies are one my faves because of its absolutely gorgeous shades and pigmentation. I personally love matte lipsticks because they stay on the lips much longer and I think they just look very sophisticated.

Here are the shades I have in my collection: Just Peachy, Think Pink, Sandstorm, Mauve outta here, Cherry Picking.

Swatches on my hand.. These are highly pigmented. I only swatched these once and look how bright they were! Absolutely beautiful color payoff..

The Pinks

I love love these three especially the think pink.. I just love the hint of baby pink to it, kinda like the barbie pink shade but not too heavy like Nicky Minaj. lol

The Just Peachy, I love wearing this on days where I just want a tinnie tiny bit of color on my lips. This would be perfect for an everyday wear lipstick.

Mauve outta here has got to be the only purple tone of lipstick that I have. I love that it's kind of purple-y but still very pink. Love this!!

Sand storm, I honestly just bought it coz I thought this would somehow look like the Mac Velvet Teddy but I guess this one was too dark. I rarely use this one as I'm into pink lipsticks.

Cherry Picking, I do get a lot of compliments whenever I wear this lipstick. This definitely has got to be one of my fave red lipstick. It's red but has a pink undertone to it. It's not like it's gunna wash me off or something.. This is still very wearable. What I love to do though is that I would put this lipstick first then top it off with my Sleek Cherry lipstick.

Me wearing the cherry picking with a bit of Sleek Cherry lipstick. I love how it turned out.

"Show off your heart's beauty." I love love love BDJ stickers like these.

Sleek True Color Lipstick in Cherry Shade Review!

Monday, October 27, 2014

Hi loves, today I'm gunna share with you my current lipstick favorite which is the Sleek True Color in Cherry Shade!

I saw this first from Brittney Lee Saunders Luxola Haul Video..
See what I mean?? So obsessed with this shade!!

I've also been shopping a lot from Luxola so I was about to buy this lipstick from them but luckily, I saw this at Megatrade Bazaar.. I forgot the name of the shop but it was so much cheaper than buying it from Luxola. I got this for only Php420 I believe? You can get this though from Luxola for Php698 but if you use the coupon code DEALS30 at checkout you'll get 30% off! Plus they have a free shipping so yeah.. I love love love luxola!
Anyways, this is what the shade looks like. I love red lipsticks, and I know a lot of people actually prefers red-orange kind of shade but I personally like deep red shade of lipstick coz it looks very sophisticated. The packaging as well is very sleek looking hence the name. Love it!

The lipstick itself though is rather short! For the price you have to pay it really seems kind of small to me but super cute and travel friendly. I can actually easily put this in my wallet for quick touch-ups emergency. Also, I like the fact that it's pointy, so it makes the application so much easier and perfect.

Bath and Body works Watermelon Lemonade Candle Review

Saturday, October 25, 2014

Hi loves! Today I am finally back to blogging.. So sorry for my lack of post been really busy lately! Anyways, let's get into the blogging thing coz I have a lot of blog posts to share.. So yeah, today I'm gonna share with you one of my fave candle scent from Bath and Body works (White Barn) And it's called "Watermelon Lemonade". I got the mini one 1.03 oz/ 36g which burns for approximately 10 hours.
First of all, can we talk about the lid? I just love love love BBW's candle lids. I think that their lids are always pretty amazing! It just adds so much cuteness to the candle, making it more suitable for home decors.
The scent: "Refresh your thirst for spring with this pleasing mixture of watermon Ice, sparkling water and freshly squeezed Meyer lemon." This candle is definitely one of the truest to its claim. The description says it all.. I love the scent throw of this one and I can definitely smell the watermelon and  a hint of sparkling water with lemon in it. This candle is so refreshing and sweet! But not too sweet that it can make you sweet.. It just smells really really fresh to me. And though it's just a mini one, this can definitely fill up the entire room. Well atleast our room.
I've been burning this one a lot together with my Champagne Toast. This is just perfect for me especially the color because it's pink. I think people who likes pretty smelling fruity scent will love this one. :)

What's your fave bath and body works candle scent at the moment? x

Essence Quick Dry Top Coat and Essie's Russian Roulette. The two are absolute great duo.

I've had these two on my nails for like a week now and I have to say, it's the best ever.

This was one of my very first Essie nail polishes.. I've heard good news about them and some negative as well. But do they work for me? Let's find out..

Fanny Serrano Long Wearing Gel Eyeliner in Brown Color (Review)

I was very happy when I got this from my last BDJ September box. I was so thrilled to try brown gel eyeliner coz I was never used to wearing any color rather than black.. So today, I just wanted to share my thoughts about this.

As you open this, it has this sealed protection lid that you have to peel-off before using, which was good.
It also comes with a free eyeliner brush. Which I thought was very handy.

NYX Adorable palette Review (Smokey Office make-up Look)

Saturday, October 4, 2014

Hi girls, I just recently bought a new palette and thought I'd share it with you.
It's the NYX ADORABLE Palette! How gorgeous is this??

I normally like palettes that are neutral and just nude colors.. This palette actually comes in 3 different palettes.. The natural, sexbomb, and this adorable one.
But I opt for this one.. I like the fact that this adorable palette is still very much neutral tones yet you can re-create different looks without looking all natural. I mean you can try smokey eyes using this palette if you want to.. There are darker shades of brown that you could use to build it up.

So let me share some of my DIY office designs that I did on my space.
First, you need a puncher and gold stickers.
I got mine at National Bookstore for a very cheapy price of Php45 (?) for 5pcs.

I got inspired with the Kate Spade Gold Agenda.. so I figured a way on how to DIY these golden polka dots. (DIY planner soon!) Srsly guys, gold is my new favorite now!!!
Let's begin with the DIY's shall we??

First off, get the punching started! (way too easy)
After punching the stickers.. You can now stick them anywhere you'd like!
