Coca-cola Campaign (5by20)

Monday, December 29, 2014

Hello loves, I just want to share with you something that is really close to my heart. I rarely post something like this but this one from Coca-cola really caught my attention. This campaign from Coca-cola focuses on empowering female sari-sari store owners and highlight their role as the pillars of the Coca-cola business.

By watching the video below, it made me miss my “Ate Josie”. Back when I was still in Elementary, I remember every after school I would run to this sari-sari store beside our school to have my merienda (cupcake and Coke) and I would always ask Ate Josie if she has new products in store because other than snacks, she also sells stationery and school stuff.

I remember whilst waiting for my service to come, we would talk about many things whether it’s about school, crushes, or just random life lessons and stories. She was kind of close also with every other kid and thus she had become like our second mom back then.

I think that this video campaign from Coke speaks to us in a way where we could appreciate these women (micro-entrepreneurs) behind it. That in these small businesses, be it a computer shop, salon, sari-sari store, etc.. we may find something more important.. and that is a friend, a sister, a mentor, or a second mom.

I hope that somehow, this made us feel very nostalgic like I did, and appreciate more our “Ates and Manangs” during those special moments in our lives. We may not always remember their importance but now is the time to actually give back and take time to appreciate these courageous women and help them find success by supporting this campaign. Coke aims to reach 5 million micro-entrepreneurs by 2020. They help improve their lives and small businesses by giving them an access to business skills training courses, and financial services. I really really appreciate that Coke actually gives importance to these women and believe in what they can do/offer more.

Help me spread this campaign by sharing this post (or atleast raise awareness) and the video above on your social media sites, and you may also check their site for more info here: Coca-cola Campaign

How I organize my facemasks!

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

If you have been following me for a while then you probably know by now my obsession when it comes to face masks. This morning, I decided to sort out all my facemasks where I could see them.. so I can use them. I barely use mask these days as I tend to forget them, because I kinda kept them in their boxes. So I got them out and decided to sort them out.

Here are all the masks I have.. Some of them I've already gave away, and some I decided to sell. But as you can see, I still have so many!!

I decided to sort them by four types: Moisturizing, Anti-aging, Whitening, and anti-acne.

Skinpotions Fruit Pigment Lip and Cheek (Review)

Sunday, December 21, 2014

Hi loves, today I'm gunna share with you all this recent discovery of mine to make my lips looking super naturally red lips.

I recently went to the trendsetter bazaar at the Metro Tent to visit our friend Jonah the owner of Skin Potions and to check out their products as they were having a huge huge sale and discount! Skinpotions has been known for its super organic and highly effective skincare products. In fact, they have a whooping 22.5k followers on their instagram account (@skinpotions).

Anyways, I was so fortunate to try this baby out! I'm a real sucker for lip tints as I want my lips looking super naturally red for just an everyday look. That's why I was so super excited to try this..

"Highly pigmented that are rich with organically grown ingredients that moisturizes lips and cheeks naturallywhile  indulging with berry yum scent."

Key Ingredients: Aloe Vera, Dragon Fruit and Strawberry Fruit Pigment, Pomegranate Oils, Olive Oil Camellia, Pumpkin Seed.

The scent: Super fruity and addictive! Love love love the scent.
The packaging is very simple. Kinda like a nail polish though but I don't mind.

Swatch on my hand:

By one swatch of this on my hand I can already tell how pigmented the tint was.

Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser Review

Sunday, December 7, 2014

Hello loves! here's another review for you.. I know I haven't been doing any updated skincare routine in awhile but that's because I haven't found any specific regimen that I know I can use as a set.. Been trying different things lately but I swear it will be up soon! I'll have my updated skincare routine post probably before Christmas or early next year. I don't know I'll keep you guys updated. Anyways, today I will be talking about my current facial cleanser..

it's the Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser Php575 at The Beauty Bar

I've been eyeing this one for ages ever since college, but I haven't really thought of buying this until recently. I really really wanted to get a cleanse that can combat the acne as well.. So I saw this and I was like "okay it's time to try this baby".

I love buying Yadah products as they claim to be super herbal and natural/organic with their sets of ingredients. I love that they don't put paraben, mineral oil, and artificial colorant.
