Etude House Stay Up Foundation Review

Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Hi loves, so sorry for my lack of post as I've been very down lately because of some personal issues.. But I just couldn't forget about this blog ya know, so anyways.. I have a new favorite that I wanted to share with you all.. It's the new "Stay Up Foundation" from ETUDE HOUSE for Php778 (25g).

It comes in 5 shades (pure, rosy, ivory, beige, sand)

I opt for the palest as always.. the PURE shade. I was actually confused which one to get  because I also kinda like the Rosy shade, only it was a bit pinkish tone hence the name rosy. (duh)
Smooth and Cover -- This foundation claims to be an anti-wrinkle and whitening.
It has SPF30/PA++ which is always good because it can protect my skin from the sunlight.. I haven't tried this with a camera flash though so I can't say if this would reflect badly or not. But I'm pretty sure it wouldn't because of it's great formula.

PACKAGING: I honestly love the packaging,. it reminded me so much of the CHANEL foundation. I love that it looks classy and neat. A bit tiny though compared to their normal packaging.
it comes in a squeeze type.. which gives you a nice control of the product.
FORMULA: The consistency is very thin and kind of watery hence it absorbs easily into the skin. I honestly find it kinda hard to blend with my fingers because as soon as it touches my skin, it would evaporate almost instantly! Which is kind of weird but I like that it's very matte and kind of powdery looking and not sticky at all. I have a combination skin, and though it doesn't claim to control oil, I still find my skin looking matte longer than usual..

COVERAGE: The coverage is very lovely.. I love that it's very buildable but doesn't look cakey! It might be a little thin at first coat.. probably a light to medium coverage but as you build the foundation on to your face, the more coverage you get which I think is good for people who doesn't like too much of a coverage but still want their skin to look flawless!

So all in all, I couldn't think of any cons about this foundation.. except maybe that it dries easily. Other than that, I like this foundation a lot. I like that it smells good, doesn't look cakey, buildable, and affordable. I usually end up hating their  BB creams all the time because I find it very sticky and gives me an oily skin.. but this one I was very impressed. I would definitely recommend this foundation.. I think it's worth a try! :)

  1. I love the finish, soecially in your last image. It makes your skin looking flawless :)

  2. OOooooohhhh I like that it dries easily and is matte :) Thanks for the review!

I would like to hear from you. :)
